Ken Reed has a background in finance and management, working previously for a national banking institution within its international division. Prior to establishing the Reed Property Group, Ken managed the Queensland arm of a major international building products company.

Ken is a Senior Fellow of the University of the Sunshine Coast and his credentials also include executive positions on regional committees of the Urban Development Institute of Australia and Queensland Master Builders Association. Ken oversees all facets of the Reed Property Group’s growth and strategic development.

Tory Richards has extensive executive experience in property funds management and finance within Australia. Tory’s past roles include Director, Australian Unity Property Funds Management, Managing Director FPD Savills (Vic & SA), National Director, Byvan Professional Services and State Director, Byvan (Vic) Pty Ltd. Tory holds a Graduate Diploma of Financial Services, a Graduate Certificate in Shopping Centre Management, is an Associate of the Australian Property Institute and is a Licenced Real Estate Agent in Queensland.

Tory is currently deputy chair of the Sunshine Coast Business Council, past chair of the Property Council of Australia, Sunshine Coast, member of the Property Advisory Committee for Uniting Care Queensland and national committee member of the Australian Direct Property Investment Association.

Tory was the Queensland winner in the 2008 Telstra Business Women's Awards Hudson - Private and Corporate Sector. Tory was also a Queensland finalist in the 2007 Telstra Business Women's Awards in the categories of the Hudson Private and Corporate Sector and the Australian Government Business Innovation Award.

Peter Aubort has extensive executive experience in the funds management industry from his previous roles as director and/or responsible officer for a number of funds management businesses. In particular, Peter was the managing director of Austcorp Capital Limited and prior to that was an executive director of LM Investment Management Ltd one of Australia’s largest commercial property mortgage trusts.

He has over 18 years experience in business including corporate strategy, financial product development, commercial property & mortgage loans, compliance and information technology. Peter is a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Business, Accountancy, a Graduate Diploma of Information Technology and various financial planning certificates.

Simon Hedger has postgraduate qualifications in business administration and valuation and is a member of nationally recognised valuation and surveyor institutes.

Simon’s extensive experience in the real estate and funds management sectors includes executive roles in analysis, industry liaison and management. For the past three years, Simon has been a director (Portfolio Management) of Principal Global Investors Limited (the responsible entity of the PPSF).

Michael Dougherty is the chairman of Westlawn Finance Limited, a northern NSW finance company with over $200 million under management. He is a responsible officer of Westlawn Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd, Australian Financial Services licence number 246520.

Mike is also a director of Clarence Property Corporation Limited, which, as trustee for the Westlawn Property Trust, has over $200 million under management. Mike has been directly involved with all facets of the finance, insurance, financial planning and funds management industries for the past 40 years.
