Reed Property Trust

The Reed Property Trust (Trust) is an established unlisted diversified unit trust that invests primarily in a range of income earning property-based assets, consisting of direct property, listed and unlisted property trusts and property syndicates. The Trust’s objective is to invest in assets which provide investors with regular tax effective income with prospects of capital growth.

With $180 million of funds under management, the Trust is focused on acquiring blue chip Australian commercial properties from both the Reed Property Group development pipeline of assets and the external property market. Diversification now includes quality retail, commercial and industrial properties, situated in the strong economic growth corridors of the Sunshine Coast, the Gold Coast and Toowoomba in Queensland and Canberra in the ACT.

The key features of the Trust are:

• Provide a low risk, stable income stream, paid on a quarterly basis
• Provide substantial tax-deferred income benefits to investors
• Provide access to a range of commercial investments, while maintaining a core exposure to quality direct property
• Provide prospects of capital growth over a medium to long term period
• Enable superannuation funds to invest

The Trust is an investment opportunity, with a minimum individual investment of $5,000, no entry or exit fees and a dividend re-investment plan.

Our aim is to continue to improve the property portfolio’s diversity and income base, by acquiring additional properties which enhance the Trust’s sector and geographic spreads, lease profile and tenancy mix. Our acquisition program will be conducted in accordance with RPT’s investment criteria.
